Hi, I’m Nikola. Before any Dearbound book is sent, I look at every page. If the face isn’t your pet’s, the page is repainted before it goes out.
If you still don’t love it, write to me within 30 days and we’ll make it again, free. You don’t have to explain or justify.

Will it really look like my pet?
That’s the whole point. We paint from the photo you upload: same markings, same face, not a generic breed picture. A person checks every book before it’s sent; if a page doesn’t look like your pet, it doesn’t go out.
Is it a printed book?
No, it’s a print-ready digital book (PDF), emailed to you. Keep it on your phone, print it at home, or take it to any print shop or photo-book service. The letter titles are designed to be printed on cardstock and framed.
Is this just AI art?
We’re honest about it: the art is made with the help of AI image generation, guided from your photo, and then finished and reviewed by a person before it reaches you. Made with a machine, finished by a human, made for you.
Why do I pay before the questions?
So your book goes straight into the painting queue the moment your answers arrive. Every question is listed on each book’s page, so nothing is a surprise, and you can get a refund any time before we start painting, minus the payment processing fee.
Which pets can you paint?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and more. If you have one clear photo of their face, we can paint them.
What if I’m not happy with it?
Tell us within 30 days and we’ll remake it, free. If we still can’t make it something you’re glad to keep, we’ll refund you, minus the payment processing fee. You don’t have to explain or justify.
What do you do with my photo?
Your photo and the details you share are used only to make your book, nothing else.
